Phoebe Zerwick
Phoebe Zerwick joined the Winston-Salem Journal in 1987as a reporter. She was the newspaper’s metro columnist from 2001 through 2003 and its investigative reporter until 2007. She is now the state editor, and manages a staff of five reporters and oversees the newspapers coverage of Northwest North Carolina, state politics and federal issues. She has been honored by the Investigative Reporters and Editors, the Society of Professional Journalists and Columbia University.
