DORIS LEWIS

Doris Lewis is an executive producer at KGTV 10News, the ABC affiliate in San Diego, California. As an executive producer, Lewis oversees the dayside operation of the newsroom, including coverage plans and newscast production. She has won two regional Emmy Awards in the areas of writing and producing and recently served as executive producer of a five-part special report looking into the progress made one year after the California wildfires. Lewis completed the McGraw-Hill Companies leadership training program and was recognized as KGTV's employee of the year in 2005. She began her professional journalism career at KEYT in Santa Barbara, California and went on to work as a field producer in Washington, DC. In 2006, she earned a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law.
