Wendy A. Hoke

Wendy A. Hoke is a Cleveland-base freelance journalist covering education reform, social justice, faith, personality profiles and women’s issues. Her work has appeared in Continental magazine, The Plain Dealer, The Columbus Dispatch, Quill magazine, PAGES magazine, Catholic News Service, Catholic Universe Bulletin, Catalyst-Ohio, CWRU magazine, John Carroll University magazine and Cleveland Clinic Magazine. She is in her third year reporting on small schools transformation at Cleveland Heights High School for KnowledgeWorks Foundation. The Society of Professional Journalists honored her work in 2006 with a first place in religion coverage and in 2004 with a Best of Show for Trade Publications.
