Wheeling Jesuit University

We are one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the country, and we embody a more than 450-year-old tradition, conceived and initiated by St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. From the outset, we continue to personify the goals of St. Ignatius as we integrate academic education with a commitment to public service.

We provide a Jesuit, Catholic, liberal arts education, and our affordable programs unite the Jesuit tradition of intellectual excellence with the best of advanced technology so you receive an education for life, leadership and service with and among others.
