To involve all the 50 states in the roll call of states in the order they ratified the Constitution or were admitted to the Union. To educate each new generation to the uniqueness and brilliance of our Constitution, the most perfect governmental document conceived by man. To show the need to protect and defend it to maintain our liberties.

• Nationwide Constitution Day Celebration with General Colin Powell — General Colin Powell will lead the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution to be recited across American and by our military over seas who are being honored on Constitution Day, Monday, September 18, 2006 (so schools can participate). You may participate by viewing the live ceremony from www.constitutionday.com or you may download General Powell's recitation on video for use in your school, home or workplace.
